Profitable Entrepreneurship Without Burnout: How Collaboration is Changing the Game

Cortadito 305 Comes to 1910 Restaurant & Bar

Profitable entrepreneurship is about so much more than sales and marketing. It’s about building deep connections with your community and forming friendships with other business owners.

It’s not just strategic—other entrepreneurs can share their resources, experiences, and contacts to help you grow faster. And let’s be honest: it’s also a lot more fun! According to a study by the Kauffman Foundation, entrepreneurs who are part of a strong network grow their businesses twice as fast as those who try to do it alone. And 70% of small business owners say that collaboration and community are critical to their long-term success (QuickBooks 2023 Small Business Insights Report).

The New Rules of Profitable Entrepreneurship

Gone are the days when business owners subscribed to the outdated belief that entrepreneurship must equal stress and hustle. There’s a national—if not global—movement prioritizing health and wellbeing to avoid the burnout that affects nearly 63% of entrepreneurs, per CNBC and Capital One’s 2023 Business Owner Survey. Not just because our health is paramount—mental, physical, and spiritual—but because when we are healthy and strong, we show up better for our clients, our communities, and our vision.

One local example of making profitable entrepreneurship collaborative and fun again is Cortadito 305, an initiative by MegaTV and SBS radio stations in partnership with the Miami-Dade Strive 305 program, designed to support small businesses across the county.

Having worked at both MegaTV and SBS throughout my media career, I am extra excited to be a part of this Cortadito 305 experience.

In this instance, Cortadito 305 visited 1910 Restaurant & Bar in Miami Lakes with the support of Manny Cid, Miami Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s Lead Senior Economic Advisor, and several local business owners looking to build genuine connections and uplift each other.
