Joanna Danielle Olsen: From Big Ideas to Bigger Successes

Joanna Danielle Olsen has never been one to play it safe. Whether building a business, stepping into a new industry, or taking a leap of faith, she moves with confidence.

Most people map out their next move, analyzing every detail before taking action. Joanna? She jumps in.

That’s exactly what happened the night she walked into Coyote Ugly Saloon for what she thought was a fun night out. Instead, she left with a deal to open her own Coyote Ugly and the start of what would become a multi-location business venture. Most people go to a bar for drinks—Joanna left with a business.

The Mindset of a Risk-Taker

Before becoming a multi-business owner and philanthropist, Joanna always had an eye for opportunity. A University of Georgia graduate, she was drawn to industries where entertainment, creativity, and business intersect.

In 1999, she launched Paradox, a club where fashion, art, and music collided. It wasn’t just nightlife—it was a cultural movement, proving she understood what people wanted.

Then came Coyote Ugly Saloon—and it changed everything.

“Our business is female-owned, with an all-female staff called Coyotes who do choreographed dances on the bar, keep guests engaged, and ensure everyone has a great time.”

She expanded from Ybor City to Panama City, Destin, and Daytona Beach, proving once again that trusting her instincts was the right move.

Beyond Business: Mentorship & Giving Back

For Joanna, success isn’t just about profits—it’s about impact.

She is committed to mentoring entrepreneurs, especially women looking to break into male-dominated industries. She understands the challenges, the doubt, and the resilience it takes to succeed, and she shares her wisdom with those ready to chase their dreams.

She’s also a dedicated philanthropist, supporting charities that uplift women, creatives, and underserved communities. For Joanna, business is one part of her legacy—giving back is another.

Embracing Change & Taking Risks

Joanna never stays in one lane. After nightlife and hospitality, she’s now making her mark in real estate.

Her philosophy?

“The courage is something that has been instilled in me since I was a little girl… It’s taking true action on what you believe in. You have to keep throwing spaghetti on the walls and go forward with what sticks!”

That mindset has fueled her success—taking action, trusting her gut, and never being afraid to reinvent herself.

The Takeaway: How to Build Your Own Success Story

Joanna’s journey is proof that success isn’t about waiting—it’s about doing.

If you’re hesitating on your next move, stop overthinking and start acting. Bet on yourself. Take the risk. If it works? Run with it. If it doesn’t? Keep going.

Because as Joanna Danielle Olsen has proven time and time again—success belongs to those who go all in.
